Plug & Charge (ISO 15118) authenticates the vehicle at the plug — no badge, no app, no QR. Chargekeeper is compatible on both sides of the market: the operating CPO and the providing eMSP. A combination rarely found on market CPMSs.

Compatible on both sides of the flow
Most CPMSs support Plug & Charge either on the CPO side (chargers accept incoming cars) or on the eMSP side (the service issues certificates). Chargekeeper supports both — and it's this duality that makes the difference when your role evolves.
eMSP side
Your roaming subscribers can plug in with their P&C certificates (manufacturer or eMSP) on any compatible CPO charger across the network. Roaming billing follows the standard OCPI flow, no extra steps.
The ISO 15118 cryptographic exchange itself happens between vehicle and charger — at hardware level. Chargekeeper orchestrates the session on the platform side: authentication, pricing, billing, reporting. On the ecosystem side, we are interoperable with vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) shipping ISO 15118-equipped cars, and with charger makers integrating the standard.
